Sr. Financial Analyst

Position Summary:
OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the Market Solutions Finance Operations team in Chicago, IL.
This candidate will work closely with Senior Business Line Leadership, Local Markets Finance Teams and the Americas Finance Leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monthly & quarterly report generation and analysis
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of reporting standards
- Assist with day to day reporting and forecasting activities
- Maintain and enhance monthly management reporting
- Support finance and operational resources in the Market Solutions organization
- Special projects with a focus on operational efficiency and analysis
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 3 - 5 years of experience.
- Accounting concentration preferred.
- Strong Financial Planning & Analysis skills.
- General knowledge of journal entries, general ledger accounts and balance sheets preferred.
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Possess strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Self-starter with ability to excel in fast paced, customer service oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail is required
- PeopleSoft experience a plus
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel a plus.
