Sr. Manager, Moves (Virtual)/Transitions Manager

Position Summary:

POSITION OBJECTIVES
  • Delivers operational excellence through the implementation of MAC processes and  technology, including Space (FM System), Corrigo, OVSC, Project/Spend (OVF/OVP) (MAC space/data management, work order, project tracking tools)
  • Delivers operational excellence through the implementation of MAC scope of work, including financial processes and reporting, KPI’s and SLA’s
  • Establishes a partnership relationship with clients and client teams;  builds immediate credibility and deflects conflict under stressful, time sensitive situations
  • Integrate with all business lines, understanding all touch-points and technology integrations to support the implementation of MAC services
  • Trusted colleague in ensuring flawless execution of new account transitions
  • Best practice leader in MAC management and small projects means and methods
  • Provides superior client service at all times
  • Works with the MAC Platform Team to drive improvement and innovation of the Move Management process and FM/PM/Accounting Systems
  • Contributes to the growth of the company; contribute to platform and program development through iStream.

General:
  • Translate and document transition requirements into transition plan;  Document technology, financial, reporting,  and process requirements 
  • A team member of the Corporate Solutions Transition, does not limit knowledge to MAC product
  • Cross-pollinates MAC product across all business lines, horizontal and vertical
  • Effectively manages client teams expectations with no surprises and regular communication
  • Can easily identify risk and propose solutions to resolve/eliminate
  • Displays strong negotiation strategy and demonstrates value of baseline Space (FM System)  to client teams
  • Engages account teams to meet transition and account objectives
  • Closely follows baseline protocol and tools; does not stray and does not work outside the program.  Works with MAC Transition Lead to improve baseline tools and processes.
  • Effectively communicates and engages Regional Account Practice Lead;  knows when to engage and/or escalate 
  • Stays informed on changes to the process and system
  • Ensures Client Field Manual incorporated as a key output of the documented 3-phase MAC process.  
  • Contributes as an SME to the MAC Leadership Team  and supports any FM Systems enhancement projects
  • Comply with all Jones Lang LaSalle policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.
Technical:
  • Documents technology requirements using IT Configuration Guide and/or design-build technology visuals
  • Process mapping using Visio
  • Facilitates meetings comfortably using WebEx
  • Have or gain knowledge of all technology utilized by MAC, including the following; Space (FM Systems), Spend/Project (OVF/OVP), E1, Corrigo, OVSC. 
  • Aggregates and translates account work into marketable deliverables (e.g. GIFBP, Case Studies and White Papers)
  • Ensures better practices are brought to baseline MAC product
  • Responsible for facilitating, documenting and managing meetings using Space (FM Systems) tools
Training:
  • Participates in the 3 day training class;  provides oversight and guidance
 
 
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Proven leadership experience; reaches deep into this experience to migrate teams toward operational excellence
  • Solid understanding of, Space (FM Systems), Corrigo, OVSC, Spend/Project (OVF/OVP) and Account Management requirements to deliver operational excellence and profitable revenue
  • Six Sigma preferred
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency and ability to learn systems functionality quickly
  • Must have 100% comfort level with technology and tools including Space (FM Systems), integrated applications/functions, etc.
  • Seven years of documented, progressive experience in all aspects of  Move Management and or Project Management
  • Advanced skills in all applications of Microsoft Suite applications, including Visio and Microsoft Project
  • Flexibility with work hours and 30%-40% travel is required
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills;  yet, must demonstrate ability to aggregate results and translate into solid recommendations
  • Process oriented with strong technical skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently
BENEFICIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in producing high level of work output;  includes visuals that clearly communicate intent
  • Ability to interpret business scenarios to translate and communicate how to apply the MAC Move Management process to that scenario
  • Process improvement specialist
  • Financial acumen; estimating, budgeting, scope approvals, financial approvals, vendor engagement and payment, etc.
