Sr. Financial Analyst - Bilingual

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst to join our LATAM Regional Operations Accounting team in Chicago, IL. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in a career in accounting and wants to join an organization that will provide opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly financial reporting packages for regional leaders
- Consolidate, review and write monthly financial variance commentary
- Lead and coordinate forecasting and budgeting for LATAM
- Participate in month end close, including preparation of journal entries
- Maintaining general ledger accounts
- Revenue Recognition
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley internal control procedures
- Special Projects as requested
Qualifications:
- Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 4-6 years of experience
- Bilingual in Spanish is required, Portuguese a plus
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to excel in a fast paced and customer service oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail
- A high degree of proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft office applications. PeopleSoft and JDE E1 knowledge is plus.
- Possess or pursing a CPA a plus
