Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an Analyst for our National Investor Accounts Team to contribute to best in class client research that differentiates JLL and builds and maintains a competitive advantage in the marketplace through market expertise, analysis, and insight. This national role will work closely with JLL leasing, management, and capital markets groups across industrial, office, retail, multifamily, and hotel product types as well as with marketing and research teams around the country. This position is based in Chicago, IL.
A successful candidate will, within 2-3 years, transition into a transactional role within JLL leasing or capital markets groups, or into another JLL business line or support group.
Responsibilities:

As a member of the Client Analytics team, support the new business professionals by knowing all pertinent information regarding the clients that they are assigned. This includes tracking and evaluating: client portfolios, fund strategies and client organizational changes among other things.
- Assist team with updating client profiles and organizational charts, shared client lists, cross-business unit activities
- Create annual client plans that align JLL’s platform with the client’s objectives and work closely with the JLL senior management and field teams to ensure the plan is accomplished.
- Work closely with JLL support groups to deliver first in class products. Support groups include marketing, events, research and IT.
- Deliver the full investor suite of services offerings to all clients
- Maintain, develop & create marketing collateral (both internal & external) including PowerPoints, brochures, and e-blasts
- Create and deliver monthly and quarterly investor service growth metrics
- Work closely with the research platform including processes, products and ability to positively impact the business.
- Work with business leaders and broker teams to position Client Analytics to contribute to the business development efforts.
- Develop and prepare company reports, quarterly newsletters, marketing collateral and other special projects
- Assist in the logistics of business meetings, presentations and programs
- Field marketing and communications-related inquiries from professionals, either referring them to the appropriate resource or personally handling request
- Ensure accuracy of current content on internal website
- Creative and technical writing
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, finance, economics or related field required. Excellent academic credential and demonstrated interest in commercial real estate. We will not consider May 2017 graduates for this position. Position requires previous work experience.
- Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years commercial real estate experience
- Strong computer orientation and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software is required
- Marketing background or desire to build marketing skills
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information
- Solid written and oral communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload
- Must be energetic and enthusiastic
- Must be proactive and creative
- Understanding of real estate fundamentals
- Understanding of and commitment to client services
- A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment
