Job Overview:
As a Cosmetics Territory Beauty Stylist, you will drive sales in Dior by actively leading and developing selling and artistry skills of Beauty Stylists. You will act as a coach and train store management and associates to leverage My Client Relationships to drive sales through product launches, consultations, events and increased My Client penetration within your assigned stores within your territory. Cosmetics Territory Beauty Stylists’ responsibilities also include playing an active role in mentoring new hires. Stylists train and develop stylists to achieve planned sales, My Client, loyalty, and customer service standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
Sales

Train staff on building My client relationships and work with vendor specialists to expand current MY client base to grow the business through increased My Client penetration

Help to identify My Macy's opportunities within your focus doors and communicate feedback regularly to district partners

Establish and maintain effective relationships with key partners in the stores (VPSM, MTM, SM and Associates)

Partner with Store Managers on the execution of planned business-driving strategies at the store level

Communicate and train store management and associates on new product launch strategies and ensure timely execution

Communicate daily with sales manager in regards to sales, event

Plan and execute events in addition to achieving daily consultation booking appointments and goals

Independently develop weekly event calendar that features locations and event details. Manage scheduling by focusing around product launches and events
Customer

Train staff on product knowledge, merchandise presentation and selling skills in order to enhance our customers shopping experiences

Develop strong vendor relationships and communicate issues pertaining to selling/service, & product

Coordinate merchandise information meetings with vendors and store team to continue expanding associates’ product knowledge and selling techniques to ensure our customers receive the highest level of service
People

Work with AE and Sales Manager to coordinate and execute new hire training (Dior & Macy’s)

Coordinate merchandise information meetings with vendors and stores to ensure staff maintains advanced product skills and selling techniques to ensure our customers receive the highest level of service

Qualifications:
Education/Experience
-
Minimum 2 years experience in a Cosmetics selling position. 1 year experience in cosmetics supervisory
and/or training role. Knowledge and experience with cosmetics application techniques and proper hygienically handling of tools and equipment.
Communication Skills
- Ability to read, write, and interpret instruction documents such as reports and procedure manuals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Mathematical Skills
- Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Reasoning Ability
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Demands
- This position requires regular walking, standing, hearing, and talking. May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Other Skills
- Strong leadership profile and excellent negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Work Hours
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs.
