Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst for our Integrated Portfolio Solutions Team. This role is open to Chicago, IL or Charlotte, NC.
Our Corporate Solutions group creates transformative outsourcing partnerships that help our clients improve the cost, efficiency, and performance of their real estate portfolio
OVERVIEW
The BI Analyst works closely with our Integrated Portfolio Services BI platform lead to develop and deliver data-driven portfolio management solutions to our clients and internal stakeholders. These will include insightful reports, dashboards, and other BI products leveraging simple and complex datasets. Our agile team determines our clients’ requirements and builds a solution best suited to address their business challenges. A successful candidate will be able to clearly communicate with our clients, understanding their challenges, and work with a team to develop a solution using creativity, technical skills, industry knowledge, and above all a passion for results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist with business intelligence projects to monitor, analyze, model, and predict opportunities to improve our team’s solutions.
- Communicate the value and market our BI services and capabilities.
- Designing and promoting creative data visualizations to derive actionable intelligence
- Financial modeling, analysis and compilation of quantitative data
- Working to increase product sophistication with algorithms, integrating large data sets, and building new analytics
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2 – 4 years’ work experience, real estate background a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Solid understanding of database concepts, data warehousing and business intelligence tools
- Strong communication skills and comfort with senior management and clients
- Interest in growing technical and analytics skills through training and project experiences
- Ability to digest data and communicate results.
- Sets high personal standards and is goal oriented.
- Personal integrity and capable of upholding company’s values.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel required and SharePoint experience a plus.
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools is a plus (PowerPivot, Tableau, SQL, SSRS, R, SPSS, or SAS)
