Position Summary:

Manager, Change Management Communications
Location: Chicago (preferred; non-Chicago candidates must be a part of Jones Lang LaSalle already)
 
We are currently seeking a Manager of Communications to drive change management communications for business transformation efforts in the Americas.
 
The successful candidate will develop and execute a communications plan that:

  • Enables successful change and ultimately business growth
  • Aligns with global project charters and similar efforts in EMEA and Asia Pacific
  • Promotes and protects the JLL brand
 
The Manager, Change Management Communications, will report to the Director of Internal Communications, Americas Corporate Solutions, with matrix reporting to the PMO Director.
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
·       Develop and execute a change management communications program surrounding a series of global business transformation efforts touching a matrix of functions across the Americas business, including HR, finance, service lines, sales and supply chain management
·       Work effectively across various workstreams to create communications that inform, engage and inspire target audiences who are impacted by transformation efforts at varying levels – from senior business leadership to on-account staff
·       Ensure messaging bridges to the business narratives for the Americas and the Corporate Solutions businesses
·       Partner closely with the PMO Program Manager, and Director, Internal Communications and the executive business leadership
·       Collaborate with EMEA and Asia Pacific counterparts to ensure aligned and consistent messaging drives results across geographies
·       Oversee measurement practices and communicate results to various constituents
·       Develop/further deep understanding of JLL’s businesses, capabilities, clients and business strategies
·       Ensure company vision, values, brand positioning and visual identity are reflected in all communication initiatives
 
EXPERIENCE
  • With 7+ years related experience, this individual will be a proven change communications leader and strategic thinker who has experience interacting with senior leaders
  • Background working in a global, matrixed organization preferred
  • College degree, with experience in commercial real estate, such as within an outsourcing environment, preferred
 
KEY COMPETENCIES
  • Previous experience leading communications as part of change management initiatives
  • Deep understanding of commercial real estate industry preferred
  • Experience managing multiple communications channels and reaching disparate audiences
  • Demonstrated creativity, bias toward innovation and ability to drive organizational change
  • Expert stakeholder management skills and ability to navigate and promote multiple priorities of senior leaders concurrently
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and editing, skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Ability to work confidently and effectively with all levels of employees
  • Understanding of and commitment to client service
