Increase specialty sales by managing all key customer accounts, through all stages of the sales cycle and purchasing process. Offer customers an improved product assortment, enhanced product service support and personalized working relationship to provide solutions for all specialty needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Respond to all high volume leads and attempt to convert them to sales. Make pricing decisions utilizing margin guidelines and pricing matrix
Maintain accurate records of all key furniture and technology customer account activities and use information for ongoing reference
Maintain and thorough and up-to-date knowledge of products, designs and trends within the industry in order to remain competitive in the marketplace. Attend vendor training session and local trade shows as necessary. Utilize current knowledge to improve processes and increase sales
Develop and maintain effective relationships with specialty prospects and customers by solely assisting them through the entire course of the purchase process including: product selection, processing orders and providing various solutions
Participate in on-site visits as necessary to establish a positive rapport and improve customer loyalty
Continually monitor customer accounts by initiating calls to customers to follow-up on orders, assess future needs or ensure timely and undamaged deliveries. Document and provide customer feedback to management team
Support Quill Sales Development and customers in order to convert sales by using the sales strategy, leading to overall achievement of company goals
Meet or exceed productivity metrics and goals
Grow base of customers and average sales of account managed
Basic Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Business or Marketing or in related training or work experience
Professional Certifications / Licenses
Professional Knowledge/Experience
Previous technology/furniture sales experience desirable with a solid knowledge of technology/furniture products
Background in interior design or office design desirable
Other Skills (e.g. specialized training, language proficiency, functional expertise etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust priorities based on activity
