Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Senior Manager – Financial Planning and Analysis to join the Corporate Solutions Finance team in Chicago, IL. This candidate will work closely with Corporate Solutions Finance Teams, Senior Business Leadership, and Regional Finance Leadership.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Drive improvements in reporting, analytics and dashboards to help business leadership grow the business and make sound decisions
- Interaction with Senior Business Leadership on finance related matters. Develop & implement best practices related to various ad hoc analyses.
- Coordinate and consolidate the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for Corporate Solutions
- Drive the development of long range strategic plans
- Partner with IT and other Finance stakeholders to maintain the business unit reporting structure and participate on systems upgrade and implementation projects
- Oversee Corporate Solutions Incentive compensation plans
- Manage & oversee of a team of financial analysts
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- B.S. in Accounting or Finance
- 6 to 8 years of progressively responsible experience in an FP&A function
- CPA and/or MBA is a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Strong communication and analytical problem solving skills
- High comfort level with executive-level professionals
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and excel in a fast paced, customer service oriented environment
- Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Enterprise Financial System experience, a must
- PeopleSoft and Hyperion experience, strongly desired
