Cosmetics Account Coordinator (Colombus, OH)

Achieve retail sales goal by training and developing Impulse Beauty Consultants, coaching side by side, and providing the very best customer service.

Essential Functions:

1. Leads and develops Impulse Beauty sales plans with input / involvement of District Merchant and Group Sales Manager.

• Achievement of weekly sales plan through designing of execution plans on a daily basis.
• Secure store management support and department staff to achieve goals and strategies.
• Develops seasonal strategy by setting monthly and weekly goals focusing on core vendors, key items, events and vendor support.
• Analyzes Impulse Beauty sales and competition to provide appropriate feedback and recommendations.

2. Coaches, develops and supports Counter Managers on planning, coaching, selling, events and execution skills.

• Executes / oversees orientation of new Counter Managers.
• Provides ongoing counter training.
• Establish and monitor clienteling standards.
• Recruits potential Counter Managers and Sales Associates.
• Ensure openings are quickly filled with highest quality candidates.

3. Merchandising Standards

• Reinforce housekeeping standards.
• Confirm gondola and map compliance: current planograms, updates, testers, visuals and inventory levels.
• Identify and communicate repairs needed for fixtures and furniture.
• Communicate effectively with Sales Associates, Counter Managers, Buying office, Planners, GSM, Store Managers, District Merchants and Project Manager.

4. Administration

• Maintain standards checklist by door.
• Analyze weekly sales results by door and vendor, identify opportunities and develop action plans.
• Communicate store visit results to Director of Training, Buyers / Planners and Project Manager.

• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education/Experience: HS Diploma, Associates or Bachelors degree
• Language Skills: Proficient in English
• Mathematical Skills: Understanding of Retail Math concepts
• Reasoning Ability: Must be able to work independently and make quick decisions
• Physical Demands: must be able to lift 10lbs – 25lbs.
• Work Hours: T-Sat. 40 Hour work week. Some weekend and nights.
