Senior Specialist - Strategic Sourcing

Position Summary:

OVERVIEW
As a direct report to Strategic Sourcing Manager, person would be responsible for developing the sourcing strategy in line with corporate initiatives and client goals for Facility Maintenance Services at national level. Will lead the vendor management programs and lead appropriate field resources to execute initiatives, and manage supplier relationships Ensure contract, risk management and sourcing standards are maintained throughout the portfolio.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assess and build annual sourcing initiatives with Sourcing Manager that provide detailed service commodity strategies that identify cost savings objectives and supplier consolidation.
  • Create and run ethical RFP’s and analyze price proposals, financial reports and other data to determine the reasonability of price and contractor capabilities.
  • Ability to present to senior management and client a professional recommendation based on RFP results.
  • Experience negotiating with a supplier different scope of service and pricing.
  • Conduct regular market and spend analysis programs to drive cost savings and supplier improvements.
  • Maintain E1 Sourcing tool to ensure compliance with JLL and client Sourcing requirements, to include any and all necessary contract documentation requirements along with Certificate of Insurances (CoI).
  • Establish relationship with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management
  • Maintain Diversity spend reports and tracking per client requirements. Attend Diversity conferences or seek out Diversity suppliers to meet Diversity supplier goals.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Review meetings and manage supplier scorecards at client, regional and National level.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines and establishing work priorities to achieve goals on time.
  • Proactively managing internal and external customer expectations and delivering High level communications.
  • Support e-commerce procurement initiatives.
  • Develop new programs (innovation) and/or processes that will benefit the Client and JLL.
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 – 7 years of previous Strategic Sourcing experience, preferably in Facility or Program management
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written) and organization skills
  • Strong Analytical Ability with Excellent PC skills in MS Applications
  • Proven ability to deliver results in challenging environments
  • Motivated to grow and perform in a high performance organization
  • High skill level with Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables)
