Financial Systems Analyst

Position Summary:
SUMMARY
The Financial Systems Analyst reports to the Financial Systems Manager in the Global Financial Systems Support team. The position works closely with Finance teams throughout the Company at the local, country, regional and global levels as well as with IT groups to maintain our global financial applications, facilitate upgrades to existing applications, and will serve as primary support to synchronize metadata & security in Hyperion Planning, the company’s global budgeting and forecasting system, and OneStream XF, the company’s global & regional financial reporting & consolidation system.
The Financial Systems Analyst will work in an environment that fosters opportunities for growth and will learn about a variety of issues from the “top of the house” in a global setting, allowing for continued development of accounting and IT expertise.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform routine metadata maintenance for Hyperion Planning and OneStream XF, both of which are complex, multi-currency global systems used cross-regionally
- Manage metadata changes in PeopleSoft for Business Units, AltAccts, and Global Accounts
- Perform transformation rule updates/mapping changes for Hyperion Planning and OneStream XF
- Establish and maintain user roles & security, including access, functionality, reporting, system maintenance and other attributes for Hyperion Planning and OneStream XF
- Manage PeopleSoft configuration, primarily in the General Ledger module
- Crosstrain with other system administration functional roles as part of contingency management
- Act as the key point of contact for annual Sarbanes-Oxley reviews, regularly maintaining documentation to support effective controls and managing a user access review twice annually
- Maintain documentation on systems and processes supported by the Financial Systems Analyst role
- Maintain and update end user training materials
- Regularly meet and work with other members of the Global Systems team to continually seek opportunities to improve application performance, enhance user experience, reduce turnaround times
- Perform reconciliations on historical data conversion from legacy systems Assist end users in identifying and resolving financial systems related issues
- Monitor application performance; identify & communicate issues/resolutions.
- Troubleshoot system issues as they arise and work with relevant internal and external parties to reach resolution.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or computer Information Sciences, or have previous, highly relevant experience
- Have 3+ years of relevant work experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Have a strong aptitude and interest to work with the administrative/technical (IT) side of financial systems
- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Possess working knowledge of or past experience with analytical tools from one or more of the following financial systems: Hyperion Planning, OneStream XF, PeopleSoft Financials, Essbase, Hyperion HFM, Cognos/TM1, Oracle or other large ERP, Financial Reporting or Financial Planning & Budgeting systems
- Be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Possess strong verbal & written communication and analytical skills
