Operations Supervisor (Open to Chicago and Milwaukee)

Position Summary:
PLEASE NOTE: This position is open to Chicago and Milwaukee locations.
SUMMARY
Direct and support the daily operations respective area(s) ensuring that a safe, efficient, and cost effective delivery of services is provided to the client and building occupants. Provide direct support to field operations and are responsible for performance metric tracking and reporting. Participate in the recruiting, interviewing and onboarding of technicians.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
OPERATIONS
- Communicate all owner / landlord processes to ensure full understanding by all engineers and contractors who perform work on the building’s infrastructure and functions.
- Identify and ensure execution of updates and implementation of policies, procedures and best practices.
- Identify safety hazards, working closely with EH&S and account management team to incorporate the remediation of hazards, ensuring a safe environment for staff.
REPORTING
- Responsible for information gathering for business reporting purposes.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Oversee the operation, staffing, performance and development of the technical team and resources, including IPMP, and compliance with policies, procedures and training.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Seven (7) years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in technical aspects of packaged HVAC equipment repair, maintenance, and overall system design and application

- Strong organizational and management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently
- Ability to function effectively in a dynamic work environment
- Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills; strong emphasis on customer service
- Excellent business writing and verbal communications
- Strong analytical ability
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programs
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
- Universal CFC recovery certification
- Valid Driver’s License
