Global HR Business Partner

Position Summary:

OBJECTIVE
To support the AIM2020 Finance and HR Transformation program and lead all people related activities and partner with the program leadership to support their strategic objectives and implementation plans.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with key stakeholders within the program team and the wider HR global network
  • Work with regional and local HR teams and to successfully plan, design and implement people related activities through the lifecycle of the program.
 
STRATEGIC ADVISORY
  • Provide support and strategic advice to the senior Program Leadership team in all people related issues
  • Work with regional and country HR teams to ensure fair, transparent and culturally aligned plans and practices are adopted in all regions and countries
  • Work with regional and country HR teams to identify key people risks impacting the organization and the program, mitigating disruption to the business, additional costs and reputational impact
  • Work with communications team to keep a “people first” mind-set if focus for change plans and messaging
  • Planning and Resource Management
  • Understand the recruitment requirements in line with the implementation plans and transitions states
  • Work with the regional and local teams to coordinate the implementation of the program recruitment plans at a regional and local level
  • Work with the program team to ensure resourcing, retention and restructuring plans are managed in a timely manner and according to budget.
  • Optimize and continually develop relationships with HR teams and Center of Expertise colleagues in order to provide pro-active support to the business
 
TALENT MANAGEMENT
  • Develop strategic staffing plans and manage the recruiting function for the program
  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment activities, including drafting job descriptions, posting, resume screening, scheduling and conducting interviews, and assisting the hiring managers with candidate selection & offer development
  • Manage HRIS systems and support organization with analytics, reporting and HR related statistics
  • Assist with organization for HR processes including: Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Compensation and Global Engagement Surveys.
  • Coordinate and support internal training sessions held for employees and management
  • Act as resource for HR-related processes, issues/questions for managers and employees
  • Act as a resource/sounding board to stakeholders concerning internal policies and procedures
  • Partner with managers to effectively address performance issues
  • Assist with visa and sponsorship support for global mobility as needed
  • Flawless execution and delivery of value-added HR services, including but not limited to:  talent acquisition, performance management, talent reviews, compensation planning, and project management
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience in an HR Generalist role, especially in a fast paced business
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in a client-focused HR Generalist role, including experience in transformation and programs
  • Experience in large restructuring programs
  • Experience of leading global/virtual/remote teams
  • Experience of working in a matrix structure
  • Experience in development of employee communications and engagement strategies;  ideally gained from a large company background
  • Relevant employment law experience/understanding and application, preferred
  • Experience of global cross-functional transformation programs and large technology transformation programs, preferred
  • Experience in Real Estate, preferred

  • Must have strong relationship skills both within HR and cross functionally
  • Demonstration of strong planning skills essential and good project management skills
  • Ability to work with potential resistance from stakeholders
