Finance Manager - Project Development Services

Position Summary:

OVERVIEW
JLL is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Project Manager - Finance to provide reliable, timely, and professional support to the PDS team, assisting with the financial aspects of the program & project management activities. The position entails working with a diverse group of internal and external Stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and the successful candidate will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Support project executives on multiple projects and assignments
  • Primary focus is on the specific needs of the project, client, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Develop/Implement invoicing and change order process for assigned program
  • Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential risk surrounding program and project budget
  • Proactively report on financial status of the program
  • Coordinate and track all costs for all vendors
  • Maintain accurate and consistent files and documentation including use of client’s system
  • Interact and negotiate with contractors
  • Prepare/update project status reports
  • Work with project managers to understand all financial aspects of program and set up communication protocol to confirm spend for tracking and invoicing purposes
  • Work with core team and client to address any financial reporting requested
  • Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all PDS technology as required for assigned projects
  • Comply with all JLL policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or Project Management
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or combination of relevant work experience and education
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to understand aspects of construction projects effectively and efficiently, including, but not limited to, invoicing and change orders in order to fully understand project implications based on minimal conceptual information
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to successfully communicate with contractors, client’s representatives, and team members
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
  • Operates with a sense of urgency, quickly responding to Stakeholders
  • Professional yet personable demeanor
  • Demonstrated leadership, responsiveness, and accountability
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Proactive and takes initiative
  • Able to maintain confidentiality, utilize judgment, and work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to MS Windows; MS Office, including MS Project, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Adobe Professional, X, or Standard
