Web/Email Developer - (Front-End)

Position Summary:
As a part of the Agency at Staples, the web/email developer will work directly with interactive designers, Account Executives, Creative Director and Global technology to create sales-generating, award-winning, effective user experiences. Opportunities include online/interactive design for all Staples web properties, email promotions, product centers & microsites.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a UI Web Developer to support our digital creative team. As a member of the Agency at Quill.com, you will have the opportunity to apply your outstanding front-end development talent, joining our team of digital designers and developers in problem solving and creative execution. Your ability to partner and establish strong relationships with other developers, designers and Agency colleagues will be essential.

You will be directly responsible for coding promotional landing pages, microsites and emails across all Quill.com’s online and mobile websites. Through a blend of creative problem solving and high-level web production & development you will align creative execution with business strategy, brand presentation and user experience. You are a confident and passionate individual who is a team player, possess strong development skills, thinks conceptually, and routinely manages multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:
• Develop web solutions with a focus toward mobile and web-standards compliant code
• Provide fluid and responsive web development support for email, desktop and mobile web experiences
• Ensure code and visuals work hand-in-hand and are consistent with project strategies
• Maintain existing web content & structure, and ensure site pages maintain a consistent look & feel
• Execute business objectives through compelling and unique problem solving
• Support automated solutions that enable better efficiency and process improvement
• Collaborate with other developers, visual & UX designers, and cross-functional creative team members
• Stay abreast of evolving industry and emerging trends & technologies
