Job Summary
The core responsibilities of this position is to act as the regional oversight manager to ensure dedicated Occupancy Planning teams are performing services according to contractual agreements, act as a point of escalation for issues and build business in the region through marketing and sales of Occupancy Planning services. This position reports directly to the OP Practice Lead and may have direct reports if the OP account lead is not in place. This position is responsible for practice wide initiatives to promote the services across JLL and participate in special projects as assigned by the OP Practice Lead.
Essential Functions
Business Development
- Selling, marketing and managing the Occupancy Planning practice while delivering high quality solutions and results.
- Develop proposals and pricing estimates for engagements, manage expenses and drive engagements with strict adherence to service level agreements.
- Present in client presentations representing the solution and technology proposed for each client.
- Implement a quality assurance program as part of each engagement to ensure client satisfaction
- Provide financial oversight and accountability; monitor profitability and financial metrics and have responsibility for working with the Account Director, OP Manager and “on- account” finance managers where necessary.
- Provide a single point of contact for all occupancy planning account issues, as well as a platform to escalate geography-specific planning issues
- Transformation assessments; ensures that Occupancy Planning’s continually evolving “best practices” are incorporated into the work product of the occupancy planning team.
- Develop annual business plans with each account.
- Provide financial oversight and accountability; monitor profitability and financial metrics and have responsibility for working with the Account Director and OP Manager on adjusting the service model.
- Provide thought leadership for the team
- Collaborate with the OP management team in developing a sustainable strategic vision and management plan for this area of the practice and participate in the broader practice management activities

- MBA or MS
- 8-10 year
- 10 years
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in a concise and summarized manner without personal bias.
- A working knowledge of leasing, facilities, operations, design, construction and technology (infrastructure).
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills
- A proven and demonstrable track record in sales
- Understanding of and experience in implementing quality assurance and continuous improvement programs.
- Excellent analytical skills – both financial and planning
- Experienced in managing P&Ls and business development
- Experienced in a wide variety of real estate projects, including expansion, consolidation, restack, process development, space audits and opportunity assessment
- Good understanding of CAFM and IWMS systems and experienced in using its data to deliver projects
- Experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously and remotely
- Program management skills coupled with the ability to profitably execute and deliver
- Proven team management and motivational skills
- Must have a deep understanding of Occupancy Planning discipline
- Excellent MS skills inducing: Power Point, Excel, Access, Word
- Public speaking acumen and the ability to engage large groups
- Critical thinking that drives change and advances the practice
- Six Sigma certification is a plus
- Able to self-govern and make sound decisions
- Can facilitate conflict resolution - internally and externally
