Business Systems Analyst

Position Summary:

JLL is looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support the needs of the America’s finance team.  In this role you will provide support the current finance business processes as well as work with finance team on new initiatives.   The business analyst's will help finance implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project and building project plan.  This role will act as a liaison between America’s finance team and IT.  Position requires both a business and financial systems background.  Key responsibilities include providing business system analysis, support and process changes in the areas of Finance and Budgeting.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Finance subject matter expert on finance business process.  Role will concentrate on the Contracts to Cash (C2C) workflow.
  • Provide ERP process and application support and expertise.
  • Drive the definition, development and documentation of business and data requirements to support process improvement initiatives and associated development efforts.
  • Participate in the development and distribution of best practices and determine ways to streamline current processes.
  • Drive the implementation of cross-functional process and technology improvement initiatives, including partnering with business and IT stakeholders to define user acceptance criteria and execution of test cases.
  • Participate or lead initiatives and projects.
  • Plays a key role in the planning, testing, and implementation of system enhancements and conversions. Ensure system enhancements follow the appropriate IT guidelines, meet or exceed user requirements, and are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Act as a liaison between the Finance, Business & IT teams; interact with non-technical, functional users to develop business requirements for system enhancements or issues and work with IT to implement changes.  Responsible for escalating critical system issues.
  • Identify, document and assist implementing necessary system modifications.
  • Responsible for managing PeopleSoft configuration and security.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience
  
  • 3-5 years’ experience with PeopleSoft Projects, Contracts, Invoicing and GL on release 9.1 or greater.  Experience with AP, T&E, and AM a plus.
·       3-5  years of business analysis experience is required
  • Proven track record in defining, developing and documenting business, functional and data requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience driving the design and implementation of business process and technology improvement initiatives
  • Highly resourceful, organized and capable of executing multiple, problem-solving initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills, with an ability to communicate ideas and solutions effectively
  • Ability to learn quickly and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with managing projects.
  • Experience configuring or making configuration changes to PeopleSoft Financials modules.
  • Capacity to work in a deadline-driven environment while handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously with a focus on details.  Problem solving skills required.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Experience with Hyperion Planning and Workforce Planning a plus.
  • Experience with BI tools a plus.
  • Spanish speaking a plus.
 
 
 Educational Level
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Information Systems or Accounting
